TULSA, Oklahoma -

Police and OSBI are still searching for a man they call a person of interest in the murder of an NSU professor and the woman who is traveling with him.

There were a few sightings of Joshua Schneider and Heather Black over the weekend, but they are still missing.

They got away after leading police on a chase last week. Police later found the car Schneider's 2-year-old daughter inside the car he was driving, left in a wooded area near Pine and Garnett in Tulsa.

Black is not wanted for a crime at this time, but Schneider has two outstanding felony warrants for his arrest, including one for failure to register as a sex offender.

Investigators believe the ex-con knows something that could help solve the murder of Tiffany Maher last May in Tahlequah.

Police believe Schneider and Black are keeping a low profile by camping, so keep an eye out for them, especially if you'll be camping.

They received call of possible sightings of the pair in the Muskogee area and at Robbers Cave State Park, in southeast Oklahoma. The OSBI says they ran down all tips and were not able to locate Schneider and Black or confirm that it was them that was sighted.

Schneider is 5-foot-2 and about 150 lbs., according to Department of Corrections records.

The OSBI also says Black now has blonde hair, rather than the red hair she had in the picture released last week.

If you do spot them, call 911 or the OSBI hotline at 1-800-522-8017.
