Posted: Updated:

Brandon Laird's single to center scored Che-Hsuan Lin in the bottom of the ninth for a 4-3 walk-off win for the Oklahoma City RedHawks against the Reno Aces Wednesday in front of 3,458 at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.

The RedHawks (62-50) won a sixth-straight game and improved to 2-0 against Reno (45-67). Oklahoma City now sits 12 games above .500 for the first time this season.

The RedHawks took a 3-2 lead into the ninth inning before Reno scored in the top of the frame. A wild pitch from RedHawks pitcher Jason Stoffel scored Ace Juan Rivera to knot the game, 3-3, with none out.

In the bottom of the ninth inning, Che-Hsuan Lin was hit by a pitch to lead off for Oklahoma City. He advanced to second on a groundout by Jose Martinez and scored on Laird's single with two outs.

Carlos Perez went 3-for-3 for the RedHawks and Trevor Crowe, on ML rehab assignment from the Astros, went 3-for-4. Both added one RBI and scored a run for Oklahoma City.

The RedHawks, who improved to 18-10 in July, took the first lead of the game.

Springer grounded into a force out to score Crowe in the first.

Rivera's sixth home run of the season came in the fourth inning. His two-run shot to left field put the Aces ahead, 2-1, with one out.

A single by Crowe in the fourth scored Perez to tie the game.

Marwin Gonzalez tripled to lead off the bottom of the sixth inning and scored on a sac fly by Perez for a 3-2 lead.

RedHawks starting pitcher Wade LeBlanc threw 6.2 innings, allowing two runs on four hits, walking one and striking out a season-high eight. Stoffel (6-1) got the win and was charged with a blown save. He pitched 1.1 innings and allowed one run on two hits.

Reno starting pitcher Mike Bolsinger went 6.0 innings, allowing three runs on eight hits, walking one and striking out three. Reno reliever Evan Marshall (3-6) was charged with the loss.

Oklahoma City's four-game series against Reno continues at 7:05 p.m.
