Crews Respond To Rollover Accident On Eastbound I-44, Near Broadway Ext.

Emergency crews responded to a rollover accident on the eastbound side of Interstate 44, just west of the Broadway Extension, Thursday afternoon.

The accident occurred on the exit ramp to southbound I-235. The crash, which only involved a single black pickup truck, caused traffic in the area to be backed up for at least a mile and a half.

EMSA was called to the scene and transported the driver to a local hospital, however, that person's injuries appeared to be minor.

The exact cause of the crash is under investigation.
