Charges Filed Against OK Contractor Accused Of Filing False Liens

An Oklahoma contractor accused of filing false liens is now facing felony charges.

On Monday, News 9 brought you the story of Jeremy Owens, who is accused of filing false liens on people's homes after the May tornadoes.

"Work was done. The work of my intellect, being there with her. Comforting the client as I'm roofing," Owens said.

On Tuesday, the Cleveland County district attorney filed two felony charges against Owens for making false statements.

Investigations continue into seven other complaints against Owens.
