14-Year-Old Arrested In Beating Of Buddhist Monk In Spencer

A 14-year-old suspect has been arrested in connection with the severe beating of a Buddhist monk during a robbery in Spencer.

Weera Chulsuwan, 66, was hit at least 15 times with a logging chain and a steel pipe at his farm in Spencer.

Chulsuwan was in and out of consciousness for more than 24 hours and had to crawl several feet to call 911.

On Tuesday, a 14-year-old suspect was arrested, but a second teen is still on the run.

Police have not released the suspect's identity.
