BROKEN ARROW, Oklahoma -

Tulsa homicide detectives are looking for man who shot and killed a locksmith in East Tulsa.

They say Sebastian Geiger was murdered because a customer didn't want to pay $20 for having his car unlocked.

Geiger was only 21 years old.

Police said when the man called into the locksmith company, he was told it would be a minimum of $35. But, when Sebastian came out, he said it would be $90. Police say the man didn't want to pay that, so Sebastian dropped the price all the way down to 20. He still didn't want to pay, so one of his buddies got a gun and a gun battle ensued.

"It's pointless," neighbor Victoria Going said. "...He didn't deserve to die over $20-$30 locksmith. If you didn't want to pay it, why call?"

Going heard the first shot from her bedroom and she and her husband ran to the living room window to see what was happening.

"As we were coming, we heard the second and third shots," she said. "Got at the window and were looking out and heard the other shots."

Police said Sebastian had a buddy with him and when Sebastian and the customer got into the argument, the customer got a couple of buddies of his own.

They say Sebastian told the customer if he didn't pay, a lien would be put on the car and he began taking pictures of it.

They say as Sebastian was leaving, he pointed a gun at the men and that's when he and one of the customer's buddies exchanged gunfire.

"The victim is shooting through the passenger door with the passenger on the floorboard," TPD Sgt. Dave Walker said. "Obviously, the other guy was shooting through the truck."

Police say once Sebastian was hit, his truck slammed into this dumpster, his passenger took off running and so did the shooter, still firing shots.

Detectives questioned and released the man who'd locked his keys in the car.

Stray bullets shattered the back windshield of this parked car.

Police say it's lucky no one else was hurt.

"If this would've happened at five o'clock, during the day, one of my kids could've got shot," Going said.

She believes this was preventable because she says she's complained to management several times in recent months about the activities of the men who were involved in this shooting.

Police said this Old West mentality where everyone has a gun and everyone feels they should use it has to end because Tulsa already has 51 murders and we're barely into the first week of October.
