TULSA, Oklahoma -

A man is in the hospital after police say he was reportedly shot multiple times outside a Tulsa home Saturday.

A homeowner told police he was out for a walk and when he returned home in the 4900 block of South Columbia he found a mess and several items missing.

The homeowner told officers he saw a man in the back yard, took out a handgun and fired six shots.

Tulsa Police say EMSA took the victim to the hospital with several gunshot wounds.  There is no word on his condition.

Police are still investigating.
