Driver Jumps Out Of Moving Car During Sapulpa Police Chase

A woman left her car running while going into a home in Sapulpa and returned to find it stolen, according to police.

As officers were responding, they spotted the car going north on Main and attempted to stop it. Police said the driver jumped out of the moving car and it crashed through a chain link fence and hit a tree.

Police found another man and a juvenile in the car. Police took them into custody but they're still looking for the driver.

A Sapulpa Police car was damaged during the chase.

Officers returned the stolen car to its owner.
