3 Charged In Connection With Tulsa Murder, Kidnapping

TULSA, Oklahoma -

Prosecutors charged three people Monday in the death of Quinton Shaver.

George July and Angel Proctor are each charged with three counts of kidnapping, two counts of assault and battery with a deadly weapon, and one count of first degree murder.

July also faces charges of possession of a firearm after a felony conviction, unlawful possession of a controlled drug, and resisting an officer.

John Hunter is charged with accessory after the fact to first degree murder.

Police arrested July and Hunter on November 10 after a chase. 

Police arrested Proctor on November 12, 2013.

The investigation began after Shaver's body was found in a North Tulsa home on November 10, 2013.
