The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the death of a toddler Thursday evening after an incident in a private driveway west of Tahlequah.

Troopers said one-year-old October French was pronounced dead at a Tahlequah hospital from a head injury on Wanetah Drive at 6 p.m.

The OHP report stated a 2001 Ford pickup, driven by Adrian Sanders, 18, of Tahlequah struck the girl.

French and two male passengers, ages 1 and 14, were not injured.
