TULSA, Oklahoma -

Several communities postponed their Christmas parades this weekend because of the weather.

Glenpool, Muskogee, Coweta, Chouteau, Okmulgee, and Bartlesville all delayed their parades until December 14. Tahlequah postponed its parade until December 12.

Broken Arrow, Sand Springs and Bristow canceled theirs altogether.

And Chandler Park "Lights On The Hill" is also canceled this weekend.

If you were hoping to hop on board the Christmas Train at Dry Gulch Friday night, you're out of luck. Organizers are keeping it parked and will give refunds to those who bought tickets.

ORU also canceled its free Christmas concert scheduled for Friday evening at the Mabee Center.

The Colcord Area Chamber of commerce is canceling its "Christmas to Remember" on Saturday.

And the "Garden of Lights" in Muskogee will be closed Friday evening.

Tulsa's Ugly Sweater 5K race, which was supposed to happen Saturday, has been postponed until December 21.

But here's some good news: the Christmas Parade at Tulsa Hills will go on as scheduled Saturday evening at 6 p.m. Crews are plowing, salting, and sanding the parking lots and staging areas, making sure they're ready to go.
