Police Investigate Shooting In Stroud

A victim who was shot Wednesday morning in Stroud was rushed to an Oklahoma City hospital.

About 5:30 a.m., the person was shot in the chest in the 400 block of N. 10th Street. The victim was flown by helicopter to OU Medical Center. According to the Stroud police chief, the victim is in stable condition.

Police aren't saying what led to the shooting or if a suspect is in custody.
