An Oklahoma soldier stationed in Germany is finally back on the homefront.

John Bender's family lined the terminal at Tulsa International Airport Wednesday afternoon to welcome him home.

Bender spent the last four years overseas, where he welcomed his son Grayson into the world.

He tells us being back on Sooner Soil hasn't really sunk in just yet, but he's already enjoying the comforts of home, especially two hand delivered boxes of Twinkies.

While our cameras were there, we also spotted another soldier happy to be home.

Patriot guard riders and Bender's family also welcomed Douglas Knighton back to Oklahoma.
