SAND SPRINGS, Oklahoma -

Sand Springs police are stepping up patrols around Pratt Elementary after some parents noticed a suspicious man driving in the area, watching children walk home from school.

He was said to be driving a white, four-door sedan, possibly a Kia, with a spoiler on the back.

The school alerted parents about the man Tuesday.

"It makes me very nervous, I have three daughters and it just freaks me out that they would even be in a situation like that," said Darla Miller.

Investigators are asking anyone who sees the man to get a tag number and call police right away.
