Former Oklahoma cornerback Aaron Colvin had to be helped off the field with an apparent knee injury during a practice session on Tuesday for the 2014 Senior Bowl. The news only got worse from there.
The NFL Network is confirming through numerous league sources that Colvin has suffered a torn ACL, coming as a significant blow to the former Sooner and two-time All-Big 12 selection.
He had been initially projected as a second-to-fourth round selection in April's NFL Draft. Colvin has been pegged as one of the top 10 corners in the draft with ideal size at 6-feet and 185-pounds with an averaged 4.48 40-yard dash.
Colvin was one of three OU players participating in the Senior Bowl this year. Center Gabe Ikard and receiver Jalen Saunders will represent the South team this Saturday in Mobile, Ala.
