An arctic cold front will push through tonight and bring more wind and cold to the state.
It has been about two weeks since we've seen weather this cold. Be prepared for wind chills that will sting! The worst wind chills will be in the northern part of the state where temperatures will be colder with the strong wind gusts. Some areas will feel colder than -5 degrees Thursday morning!
We will stay very cold through Friday morning before gusty southwest winds take over and push in warmer air. Highs are expected to be well above normal by the weekend as 60's make a return.
Fire danger will be very high Thursday and Friday with the stronger winds.
