Oklahomans will notice higher prices when they go to the gas station on Monday morning.

The Lundberg survey came out on Sunday. It shows the average cost of gas nationwide is up from two weeks ago to $3.41. That's a 12 cent increase.

It's likely because of problems in Venezuela and South Sudan, which Lundberg says are petroleum-producing countries. And the violence in Ukraine is also being blamed.

Breaking it down even further, if you fill up with midgrade, the average is $3.60. Premium gas is about $3.75. Diesel is $4.01.

Just keep in mind, we're still paying about 38 cents less than a year ago when the average price of gas was 3.79.

Nationwide, drivers are paying about $3.41 a gallon. That's about 12 cents more than a week ago.

We checked Gas Buddy, and no surprise, we're well below that national average.

The price of gas in the Sooner State is about $3.25. That is 20 cents higher than what we paid in January. The average price of gas in Oklahoma City is $3.26.

In Tulsa, the price is slightly lower at $3.20. That's a 22 cent increase from last month.
