A grass fire burned an unoccupied home between Ramona and Talala Tuesday night, pushed along by strong winds.

Firefighters from five area fire departments battled the blaze.

Osage SkyNews 6 pilot Will Kavanagh was overhead.

"We can see that some of the mutual aid that was called out by Ramona is starting to pack up and leave, and right now they are in a defensive position around this house. They're letting it burn. We were earlier able to see a kitchen and water heater in here, so we're going to tell you we think this was a house by what we can see inside this structure at this time, again it's burnt right to the ground. The firefighters are letting it burn, but are containing it so it doesn't spread to the rest of the area," said Will Kavanagh.

Fire officials said the destroyed home appeared to be unoccupied.  No injuries were reported.
