CATOOSA, Oklahoma -

Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers responded to an injury wreck in Catoosa early Sunday afternoon.

A man in a GMC pickup tried to pass a diesel truck on eastbound Interstate 44 between 161st and 193rd East Avenue and lost control. The pickup slammed into the cinder wall divider, troopers say.

The driver was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries, according to the OHP.
