Emergency Crews Respond To Multi-Vehicle Crash On SB I-35 In Norman

NORMAN, Oklahoma -

Multiple vehicles have been reported to have crashed on the southbound side of Interstate 35, near the Tecumseh exit in Norman, Sunday night.

According to scanner reports, as many as five vehicle may be involved in the wreck.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) shut down the southbound lanes of I-35 between Robinson and Tecumseh while crews worked the scene. The roadways are back open Monday morning.

Traffic was backed up for miles and cars had to be re-routed to the service road.

Right now, we do not have any reports of any injuries. As for the cause of the crash, it may be due to racing.
