Emergency crews responded to a shooting in the 4400 block of North Detroit Avenue in Tulsa on Tuesday afternoon.

Police say they received a call at about 2:30 p.m. about two people being shot.

According to police, after a disturbance in the home Kenneth Anderson, 51, went outside and fired several rounds into the house.

Police say two men, ages 30 and 21, were shot, one in the stomach and one in the chest. EMSA took them to Saint John Medical Center. Both are expected to survive.

Neighbors said a woman, her brother and her son live in the home.

One man we spoke with said he just moved his son out of the house after becoming worried for his son's safety.

"I just wanted him to do something positive before something bad happened, and it looks like the Lord moved me just in time to keep him from something bad," said Marcus Northington.

A friend who was in the home at the time of the shooting said Anderson is the woman's boyfriend. Police are still investigating.

Anderson is in custody at the Tulsa County Jail on two complaints of shooting with intent to kill and shooting into an occupied building. He is being held on a $350,000 bond.
