Multiple Earthquakes Shake Oklahoma Overnight

Multiple earthquakes shook the state of Oklahoma Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.

According to the Oklahoma Geological Survey, the biggest one, a 3.2 magnitude earthquake, was recorded at 10:36 p.m. Tuesday. Its epicenter was located about three miles southwest of Langston. It was about four miles deep.

At 7:39 p.m., a 2.8 magnitude earthquake was recorded about 13 miles northwest of Langston. It was about three miles deep, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

Early Wednesday morning, two more small earthquakes were recorded in Oklahoma. At 5:20 a.m., a 2.9 magnitude earthquake was recorded five miles east, southeast of Perry. And again, at 5:37 a.m., a 2.7 magnitude earthquake was recorded six miles southeast of Cherokee.

At 8:36 a.m., another 2.7 magnitude earthquake struck nine miles northeast of Perry.

No damage or injuries were immediately reported following these earthquakes.
