Tulsa Seventh-Grader Scores Perfect On National Latin Test

A Tulsa seventh-grade student has earned a perfect score on the National Latin Exam, a news release says.

Vieve Bock represented Monte Cassino School as one of the country's elite.

More than 140,000 kids answered 40 questions on seven levels in 45 minutes. The Latin exams consist of questions on grammar, comprehension, mythology, derivatives, literature, Roman Life, history, geography, oral Latin and Latin in use in the modern world.

Bock was tested in the Introduction to Latin category, where she was one of 688 students nationwide to earn a perfect score.

Monte Cassino School was founded in the Benedictine tradition in 1926. It serves students from three years old through eighth grade.
