A Weatherford woman died after getting out of her vehicle during an argument late Saturday in Washita County.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said it took place just before midnight on State Highway 54 about a mile south of the Custer County line.

Troopers say Kasey Lynn Lougee had been driving a 2001 Ford pickup northbound on the highway when she got into a disagreement with her husband and got out of the truck.

She was hit by a 2006 Chevy driven by a 69-year-old Weatherford man.

Sinor EMS took the 23-year-old Lougee to Weatherford Regional Hospital where she was pronounced dead. No one else was injured.

The investigating trooper said both the driver of the Chevy and Kasey Lougee were in apparently normal condition before the fatality collision.

Troopers continue to investigate the cause of the wreck, according to a collision report.
