TULSA, Oklahoma -

Two flight attendants on a Southwest Airlines flight from Houston's Hobby Airport to Tulsa were injured when their plane encountered turbulence Friday morning.

Southwest says the two were securing the cabin as the plane approached Tulsa International Airport.

"At about 10,000 feet, flight 650 encountered moderate turbulence. During this time, flight attendants were securing the cabin for landing in Tulsa. Two of the flight attendants suffered minor injuries. Upon landing, they were transported to a local hospital for treatment," said Southwest Airlines spokesperson Thais Conway.

EMSA says a 54-year-old man and 56-year-old woman were taken to a Tulsa hospital in fair condition.

Conway said flight 650 had a crew of five and 141 passengers on board at the time.

The plane left Houston at 7:56 a.m. and arrived in Tulsa at 9:08 a.m.  Conway says the flight continued on to Chicago's Midway Airport about an hour late.
