My 2 Cents: President Obama Announces Plans To Send About 300 Troops To Iraq

Iraq is coming apart at the seams, and could be in danger of being overrun by radical Islamic terrorists, who want to overthrow Iraq's fragile government and create a nation ruled by harsh Sharia law.

Today, the group Sunni Muslim group ISIS is already bragging that it has slaughtered 1,700 Shia soldiers in the Iraqi city of Tikrit, and they are getting nearer to bringing their ruthless tactics to the capitol city of Baghdad.

These are brutal fundamentalists who want to rule that country with medieval practices, and we don't want them to take over, after so many Americans fought and died to give the people of Iraq a chance at freedom.

The President has announced about 300 troops are heading to Baghdad to protect our embassy there and that's the right thing to do. But we need to try to disable the advance of these terrorists long enough to give the Iraqi security forces time to regroup.

Hopefully, President Obama will order our bombers and our drones to attack them, or it looks to me to be almost a certainty, that Iraq will fall into the hands of what is basically, an Al Qaeda army.

And make no mistake the United States tops their enemies list.
