OKLAHOMA CITY -

An Oklahoma man is recovering after he was shot and robbed early Friday morning. Police say this all started when he called an escort service.

The man, who was shot, admitted to police that he had called an escort service to arrange for a date. He ended up getting robbed instead.

Officers were called to the man's home in the 700 block of SW 104 Place around 1:00 a.m. The man was taken to the hospital and was treated and released for his injuries. He was shot in the arm.

Police believe the man may have been set up by the escort service.

"He removed his clothing and there was a knock at the door," said Msgt. Gary Knight, Oklahoma City Police Department. "She very quickly ran to the door, and let her two accomplices in. The three of them robbed him. They ended up robbing him, shooting him, and then fleeing."

Detectives believe the female suspect may be around 19-years-old. She has a distinctive tattoo on her right arm. The two male suspects may be in their mid to late 20s, between 5'06" to 5'07", stocky build, dark hair, and unshaven.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at (405) 297- 1132.
