TULSA, Oklahoma -

Tulsa police said they received a call of a wrecked and abandoned car in the 6500 block of East 21st Street around 6:30 a.m. Sunday.

They said the care was near 21st Street South just east of Sheridan Road. They believe it was heading east on 21st Street when it veered left across the westbound lanes and hit a light pole breaking off the top.

Police say the car then went back across to the eastbound lanes stopping on the curb blocking the outside eastbound lane.

They said they don’t know how many people were inside the car or if anyone was injured.

Outside the car police found, what appears to be an empty beer bottle and a bag of McDonald’s.

Police said air bags did go off and when they arrived the engine was cold. They believe the car had been there awhile.
