TULSA, Oklahoma -

Tulsa police are looking for a man they say stole a car from someone he was pretending to help.

Police say the car's owner was at the Ritz Cabaret, near 21st Street and Utica Avenue, with an acquaintance.

When they were leaving, the acquaintance suggested driving the man's car since he'd been drinking.

But police say the man sped off instead.

The car's owner fell out of the car and was dragged as the man made his getaway.

Police still are looking for a 2003 Gold Buick with front-end damage.

If you have any information about the whereabouts of the thief, call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
