Crews Recover Body Of Drowning Victim At Lake Murray

CARTER COUNTY, Oklahoma -

Emergency crews have recovered the body of a man who drowned on Lake Murray in Carter County.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, at 7:21 a.m. Monday, the body of 32-year-old Eduardo Luna of Oklahoma City, was found about 125 feet from the shoreline in about seven feet of water.

Just after 1 p.m. on Sunday, troopers said Luna was swimming in the Cisco Road area of Lake Murray when his wife and child stepped into deeper water. He drowned when he attempted to push his wife and child into shallower water.
