A former nursing home employee has been charged with terrorism hoax after authorities said he threatened to behead a co-worker.
Jacob Muriithi, 30, was arrested after he reportedly threatened to behead a co-worker while they were both working at Bellevue Nursing Home on September 13.
Police said Muriithi made a comment that he was a member of ISIS, and that ISIS cut off the heads of Christians.
The police report said the alleged victim asked if he had a “guillotine set up outside.” Muriithi, a citizen of Kenya, claimed he was going to "cut her head off with a dull blade, then post it on Facebook."
Muriithi reportedly told officers that he was only joking and that he is not a Muslim. However, he was arrested for violating Oklahoma's anti-terrorism act.
On Thursday, October 2, Muriithi has been charged with one count of terrorism hoax.

The threat was made nearly two weeks before the savage attack in Moore. Police arrested 30-year-old Alton Nolen, who is accused of beheading a woman and stabbing another one on Thursday, September 25 at Vaughan Foods in Moore.

The FBI is investigating the case because Nolen recently converted to Islam, and he had tried to convert other co-workers as well.
