News On 6 WARN Team meteorologist Stacia Knight said the upcoming cold frond won't cut through the Tulsa area until midday Monday and that the strong to severe storms should be moving into Arkansas by Monday afternoon.

"Until then, flash flood watches and severe thunderstorm watches have been issued in preparation for these storms to cross into eastern Oklahoma," Knight said.

"Damaging winds and large hail will be the primary threats but conditions are suitable for possible spins along the leading edge of the line of storms," she said.

Around Tulsa and areas to the north, mainly heavy rain and strong winds are expected. Areas south of Tulsa are expected to experience heavy rain, winds and possible hail.
