A man driving by spotted flames shooting from a north Tulsa home overnight. He called firefighters to the 1000 block of East 26th Place North at about 2:30 a.m.

The house was fully engulfed in flames when crews arrived on scene, according to Tulsa Fire Department Equipment Operator Brandon Wright. Firefighters got the flames under control and were able to enter the house. At one point, they backed out in fear the floor would collapse.

No firefighters were injured.

TFD searched the house twice and found no victims. A neighbor said they believed a middle age man lived there but firefighters weren't sure the home was occupied. A power line was down in the back yard, so PSO was called to the scene.

Fire investigators are looking into the cause of the fire.
