Police in three different cities are looking for an armed robber who has hit a cell phone store in Owasso, a hair salon in Claremore, and several small businesses in Tulsa.

One victim, Carol with Hair Relations, said the man came in just after the salon opened and showed the gun in his waistband to her and several customers inside.

She said the minute she saw the gun and heard the man tell her to get to the register she knew it was no joking matter, so she walked to the front desk.

"We have a bag we have change in and I picked it up, and I unzipped it, and it had change in it and envelopes came out and one with change in it, I handed to him," Carol said.

She said he didn't yell or cuss but was very matter-of-fact, and after he got the money he told Carol and the two customers to go to the back of the store to a small bathroom.

"Went into this restroom, all of us got into this little spot, trying to have something between us and him besides the door, and this is where we stayed until the police told us we could come out," Carol said.

One of the customers grabbed Carol's phone on the way to the back and called 911 as soon as they locked themselves in. Officers arrived quickly after the call.

"Very scary. I was pretty sure that was it, right there," Carol said.

Police believe it's the same man who also robbed the Metro PCS phone store in Owasso. They said the robberies were very similar; the man showed the clerk a gun in his waistband, got money and left.

Police said they believe he's committed several robberies in Tulsa too.

Carol said she's gone through every emotion you can imagine - shock, fear and anger - and even though she stayed at work that Saturday, she did make some changes.

"I did lock the door in between customers. Everyone was understanding, just did what needed to do," she said.

If anyone recognizes the man, call police.

They are hoping to stop him before he strikes again and goes from showing a gun to using a gun.
