A cold front mixed with rain and some thunder is expected to sweep across eastern Oklahoma as voters are filling out their ballots.

News On 6 Meteorologist Dick Faurot said it should be a slow moving system and rainfall totals could be generous with the potential for more than an inch of rain.

“The timing suggests a wet night tonight through the morning hours of Tuesday then gradually ending from west to east during the afternoon and it should have moved on eastward out of the state by sunset or shortly after,” Faurot said.

He said temperatures are expected to start off and stay in the 50s; Faurot also said to expect 10-15 mile an hour winds to shift to the north.
