Collinsville Man Dies Following Crash Earlier This Month

A Collinsville man died following a one-vehicle wreck that took place earlier this month. James P. Wagner died from injuries sustained in the crash, according to Medical Examiner's office.

A Collinsville man died following a one-vehicle wreck that took place earlier this month. James P. Wagner died from injuries sustained in the crash, according to Medical Examiner's office.

Troopers say Wagner was westbound on County Road EW 390 near NS 4060 in Rogers County when he lost control of his car on a curve and crashed into a fence. It happened late afternoon on December 4.

The trooper who investigated the wreck said medical personally initially said Wagner, 55, would be treated and released for minor injuries, but he passed away December 26, 2014. OHP did not release information on the nature of his injuries.

The collision report update states that Wagner was in apparently normal condition before the wreck but was going too fast for rainy conditions.

He was wearing a seat belt.
