TULSA, Oklahoma - Police tracked down three teenagers suspected of trying to burglarize a vehicle Wednesday morning at an east Tulsa apartment complex.

Officers said someone heard glass breaking and called 911 at about 1:30 a.m. at the Polo Club apartments in the 12800 block of East 40th Street.

Police found the window of a van broken and items from the van scattered across the parking lot.

With the help of the department's helicopter, officers found red Jeep Grand Cherokee with three teens inside and stopped it at a restaurant at 41st and 109th East Avenue.

Witnesses said they saw the Jeep leaving the apartment complex.

Police questioned the two 14-year-old boys and the 16-year-old girl. The Jeep belonged to the parents of one of teens. Officers found construction-related equipment inside and were trying to determine if it was stolen or belonged to the parent.

Police held them until they could release them into the custody of their parents pending further investigation.
