Defending Chili Bowl champion Bryan Clauson is hosting a charity event "Racers for Autism" Monday night at the Cain's Ballroom.
Clauson - who ended the Swindell Chili Bowl winning streak in 2014 - said he's inspired by a friend and racing fan to raise money for the Autism Society."We hope to make it an annual event," he said at Monday's Chili Bowl news conference.
The ticket price of $50 includes a BBQ dinner, beer and entertainment by Johnny Lee and the Urban Cowboy Band. There will also be a silent auction of racing memorabilia.

It starts at 7 p.m. and last till 11 p.m.
Clauson's friend and high school classmate Ben Hodgin, who was diagnosed with autism at age 5, is a racing fan and will be at the event.
Clauson said Monday that they've sold 200 tickets so far. You can purchase tickets online for a few more hours, or they'll be available at the door.
