TULSA, Oklahoma -

The Internal Revenue Service says due to reduced appropriations to the agency's budget, they will no longer provide printed instruction tax booklets to public libraries across the U.S.

In Tulsa, the Tulsa City-County Library say all of their libraries will still have a selection of federal tax forms available, but not the instruction booklets.

The IRS cited “significant cuts” in IRS appropriations in the 2015 Omnibus Appropriations bill recently passed by Congress making the move necessary.

The Tulsa City-County Library says patrons can visit the IRS' web page and download the instruction booklets or call the IRS at 800-829-3676 and ask for the booklets to be delivered by mail.

Concerning Oklahoma tax forms, the Tulsa City-County Library says patrons can log onto the Oklahoma Tax Commission web page and download the forms they need.
