Police: Tulsa Man Says He Was Shot In Head By Intruder

TULSA, Oklahoma -

Tulsa Police are investigating after a man said he was shot in the head area by an intruder Monday morning. 

Officers and EMSA were called to a home in the 1200 block of East 50th Place North at about 7 a.m. They said the victim told relatives he had been shot in the head by a man who he had confronted after the man had entered his home and robbed him. Police believe that happened at about 6 a.m. The relatives then called 911. 

EMSA took the victim to the hospital. There is no word on his condition.

Police have not yet released a description of the shooter.
