Tulsa Police: Ice From Sprinkler Leads To Rollover Crash

Police said a lawn sprinkler left on overnight is to blame for a rollover crash early Tuesday in south Tulsa.

Officer said the one-vehicle crash happened in front of a Mazzio's Pizza restaurant at 71st and Lewis at around 4 a.m. They said water from the sprinkler had flowed into the street and froze.

Police said the driver of a northbound pickup lost control of the vehicle on the ice and it hit a curb and then rolled over.

Officers said the driver was not injured but the truck was heavily damaged.
