Leaders at the three districts had said passing the bonds was crucial to relieve overcrowding.

Broken Arrow will build three new elementary schools and a new middle school. The district will also expand the freshman academy and high school as well as create an activities complex.

Jenks will build a new elementary school to open fall of 2016.

Union will build a new elementary, expand the 8th grade center and add a dozen classrooms at Rosa Parks Elementary School.

"We are thrilled with tonight's outcome and are excited about the opportunities this election will provide our kids," said Dr. Jarod Mendenhall, Superintendent of Broken Arrow Public Schools in a news release. "This bond issue allows us to provide the best facilities possible for outstanding educational opportunities for our students and we thank the community for this gift."

"Our margin of victory says our community supports our teachers and our students, and wants to provide them with tools they need to succeed," Mendenhall said. "On behalf of everyone here at Broken Arrow Public Schools, we are grateful for the confidence you have in our district."
