TULSA, Oklahoma -

The City of Tulsa says its trash and recycling contractor is making every attempt Wednesday to safely to make their rounds.

City officials say if conditions degrade to the point they can no longer safely pickup the trash, they will pull off the routes and resume when conditions allow.

Officials say bulk waste collection will not be picked up Wednesday as those employees have been reassigned to snow and ice response.

Because of the weather, the city says Tulsa residents should leave any uncollected refuse, recycling or bulky waste at the curb and they will be collected when weather conditions safely allow.
