Elderly Man Killed In Creek County Crash

CREEK COUNTY, Oklahoma -

An elderly man was killed on Friday afternoon after wrecking his minivan on Highway 75A between Kiefer and Sapulpa, police said.

Officers identified the driver as Archie Daniels, 83. Daniels was southbound between 141st and 151st Streets when he went left of center and struck a trailer being pulled by a truck, according to investigators.

Daniels was pronounced dead at the scene. His wife was treated and released, according to Mounds police.

The driver of the truck was not injured.

Several agencies reported to the crash, including Sapulpa, Mounds, Creek County and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
