CREEK COUNTY, Oklahoma - Three teenagers survived being ejected from a pickup Saturday evening in Creek County. Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers said a 17-year-old driver and two passengers, 14 and 18, were thrown from the truck that flipped about four times.

The single-vehicle crash took place around 6:30 p.m. on 273rd West Avenue and West 191st Street South in Creek Country.

Troopers say the teenage male driver, whose name was not released due to his age, was northbound on 273rd when the pickup left the road to the right. The driver overcorrected, and the truck went off the road to the left and flipped.

No one inside the truck was wearing a seat belt, according to a collision report. The driver, a Kellyville resident, was taken to the hospital in Tulsa where he is said to be stable with internal injures.

A 14-year-old female passenger from Sapulpa was treated and released for minor injuries. Passenger Samuel Mccomis, 18, of Sand Springs, was also treated and released for minor injuries.

The investigating trooper says the driver was in apparently normal condition before the wreck. The cause of the crash is listed as "inexperienced driver - young."
