A new era in Oklahoma City baseball began on Thursday night, but it after the pregame festivities, it was all downhill in the Dodgers' season-opener.

The Dodgers were shut out by the Round Rock Express, falling by a 2-0 score.

Hall of Fame manager Tommy Lasorda was on hand to throw out the first pitch, but that was one of the few positives the crowd of 11,189 at The Brick saw on Thursday. It was the largest home opener crowd since 2005.

The Dodgers outhit the Express eight to seven, but went 0-for-7 with runners in scoring position and left 10 runners on base. Round Rock wasn't much better, but two hits with runners in scoring position proved to be the difference.

Scott Baker took the loss for OKC despite a solid, five-inning outing. Anthony Ranaudo picked up the win with Jon Edwards getting the save.
