Armed Robbery Suspect Leads Bethany Police On A Chase Through OKC

Bethany Police were in pursuit of an armed robbery suspect, Sunday afternoon.

Authorities said a woman held a man at gunpoint in the area of 32nd and Wilburn in an attempt to rob him. The victim called police and gave a description of the woman and her vehicle.

An officer discovered the suspect and attempted a traffic stop. When the officer approached, the suspect did not comply and took off in her vehicle.

The chase ended in the 500 block of North Council, where the suspect was taken into custody. Officers also discovered a small child in the vehicle.
