Homicide Investigation Underway In Guthrie, Suspect Arrested

Guthrie Police along with the assistance of the OSBI are investigating a homicide.

Guthrie Police responded to an emergency call Saturday afternoon, at 1423 E. Harrison. There, a man was found dead with trauma to his head.

Officers arrested 27-year-old Darion Cook of Guthrie at the scene. Cook is being held at the Logan County Jail on a complaint of first degree murder.

Guthrie police requested OSBI investigative and crime scene agents to assist with the investigation.

The victim has not been positively identified at this time. The medical examiner's office will determine the victim's cause of death.
