TULSA, Oklahoma -

Police are looking for two men who they believe stole copper from the roof of a north Tulsa school early Friday.

Officers said a burglary alarm sent them to the Bunche Early Childhood Development Center in the 5400 block of Martin Luther King Boulevard at 3:20 a.m.

When police arrived at the school, they spotted the pair running away.  A K-9 officer began a search which was unsuccessful.

Police did recovered several air conditioning copper coils from the bed of a truck that was parked behind the school.

Officers said it appears the thieves did not get inside the school.
