Traffic on a portion of Interstate 35 once clogged with fallen rocks from the Arbuckle Mountains is now returning to normal.
The Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) announced Friday afternoon that all lanes for both northbound and southbound I-35 are now reopened.
Heavy rains caused the rockslide back in mid-June. At the time, northbound traffic was diverted onto the southbound side.
ODOT officials detonated small explosives at the cliffs back on July 8, in an effort to blast out other unstable areas and prevent future rockslides.
